SLCC Student, Work Study - Specialist I, Women's Basketball Operations
Assist in day-to-day operations of the women’s basketball program (office duties, practice duties, etc.)
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Overall responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Provide assistance in a variety of areas pertaining to women’s basketball operations
-Knowledgeable of rules and regulations pertaining to women’s basketball

Eighteen (18) years or older
-High school graduate or GED
-Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
-Communication skills (written and oral)
-Able to lift 30 lbs
-Work flexible hours
-Report to work on time
-Civility and urbanity are essential attributes of the incumbent
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic background of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities.
Non-Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Work-study is awarded to SLCC students through the Federal College Work-Study program, which requires establishing financial need through the FAFSA application from the Financial Aid Office. If you do not have work-study awarded to you, you will not be eligible for work under work-study positions
