Coordinator

Supervisor: Office Operations Manager

Date of Opening: Immediate

Status: Hourly, Monday through Saturday during the growing season (May October). During non-growing season, hours will be Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm unless additional work is assigned.

Crop Care is a family-owned company that has been in business for more than twenty-three (23). Crop Care provides chemical application services to growers in the Salinas Valley. This position will join a team to coordinate spray recommendations and work closely with the Pest Control Advisors (PCA) and applicators to provide quality services to the growers.

Job description

The role of the Crop Care Coordinator is to prepare invoicing, billing, and recommendations. Prepare load sheets, filing and general clerical duties. The Crop Care Coordinator ensures the work that gets done in the fields is accurately reflected on the invoices to our customers.

Responsibilities of the Position Include:

The Office Coordinator is expected to carry out the following tasks:

  • Enter daily spray recommendations
  • Prepare list of job orders for night manager
  • Prepare load sheets for multiple spray drivers
  • Maintain inventory
  • Create Purchase Orders
  • Create Invoice daily for all spray job recommendations
  • Customer issue and request resolution
  • Filing of accounts receivable documents
  • Monthly County Reporting
  • Coordinate Air Jobs
  • Answering phones and greeting customers
  • Works closely with PCAs
  • Any other duties as may be required

Qualifications of the Position Include:

To be a successful Office Coordinator, the following skills, expertise and traits are necessary:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • High attention to detail and ability to take notes
  • Ability to handle distractions and shifting priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Famous Software and CDMS plus
  • Experience with data entry and basic accounting, including 10 key
  • Friendly and personable demeanor, ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing
  • Willingness to seek guidance for tasks beyond skill set
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
