Dover School District Dover, New Jersey Omnibus Lucet E S T 1885 Director of Human Resources Dover Public Schools is a progressive, culturally diverse school district in Morris County serving approximately 3,500 students (PreK - 12) and 500 staff members. Our district is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Director to join the Human Resources team. As a key member of the leadership team, the HR Director will lead the Human Resource initiative to provide an employee oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment and school district growth. Requirements: Possesses Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree preferred. Possesses extensive experience in the area of Human Resources, preferably with experience in the Director role. Has extensive knowledge of applicable federal and state labor laws, personnel policies and practices, and applicable New Jersey Public School requirements related to personnel. Possesses expert project management and consultative skills in addition to excellent verbal and written communication and counseling skills. Demonstrates ability to handle multiple priorities in a highly transactional, fast-paced environment. Has excellent integrity and demonstrates good moral character and initiative. Has proven ability to communicate and work with people in a teamwork environment. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
