Apple's Engineering Program Management Team is looking for a resourceful, energetic Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) who will be responsible for managing key areas of Hardware Engineering programs with exposure to numerous cross-functional teams and overseas vendors. The role will interface with Engineering Project Managers, Module Engineering Project Specialists, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, Worldwide Product Configuration Management, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Contract Manufacturers, New Product Security, as well as numerous other cross-functional teams to manage the risks associated with early manufacturing builds. Manage project-related communications; escalate key issues and present options for resolution to cross-functional teams. Oversee logistics of parts for builds and prototypes and work on multiple projects, simultaneously. This role also manages the budget and purchase order process for each system build.

Manage local builds: procure and organize material, manage logistics and distribution Track system delivery schedules, ensuring that teams receive material in a timely fashion Communicate material demand and delivery schedules to module teams so they can plan accordingly Hardware prototype allocation planning and management Track and manage prototype units with vendors, secure shipping partners, and internal product security teams Excess materials management Manage and track expenses for each prototype build Create and manage project budget, submit purchase requisitions, maintain invoice tracking, and post goods receipts

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree or 3+ years of industry experience
