WATER CONSERVATION & COMMUNICATIONS SUPERVISOR
$75,933.09 - $92,297.14/year plus comprehensive benefits package
This exempt position is responsible for planning and supervising the work of staff performing water conservation and public information programs for the DWP. The incumbent develops and implements programs to educate and assist with efficient water use and conservation; represents DWP with customers and at community events and meetings regarding conservation issues; and develops and implements methods to measure improvement in water use efficiency.
Equivalent to a bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in public information, communications, water conservation, or a related field.
Five (5) years of public information experience, some of which includes water conservation and public education programs, two (2) years of which should be in a supervisory or lead capacity. Possession of, or successful acquisition by time of appointment, a valid California drivers license.
