Ginsberg’s CDL A Driver Training Program
Training will include everything needed to pass a Class A road test including specific maneuvers such as offset backing, parallel parking, full DOT vehicle inspections, DOT log regulations, road course preparations, coupling and uncoupling and certified Smith System safety training. This is a physically demanding program. Our drivers and trainees physically unload heavy product to customer locations using a hand truck and ramps while navigating various surfaces, inclines, steps, and stairs and delivering product to the appropriate location (dry, cooler, frozen) at the customer’s place of business. Our warehouse is stocked full of the favorite foods you enjoy from proteins, produce, desserts, snacks, seafood, but no alcohol or tobacco products come from our facility.
Must have a valid Class A permit or obtain within 90 days of employment. Already have a CDL A license? We are hiring experienced drivers. Learn more about positions available if you have your CDL A!
Must fulfill a 2-year agreement with the company as a CDL A driver once trained and posses Class A license

CDL A Training Program Schedule
On-the job paid training from Day 1.
By Day 3 supervised behind the wheel training, with an average of 150 miles a day, 5 days a week.
Average length of training is 2 months.
Almost 6,000 miles of driving time before road test is taken
16 hour in-house prep for road test maneuvers.
