Location: Mequon - Wisconsin
Position Summary :
Manages, owns and maintains physical characteristics of all on site inventory. Will be responsible for proper material storage strategies and locates across 4 warehousing locations. Long term project ownership of inventory consolidation and location optimization. Manages day to day movements between off site locations and drives integrity via accuracy of all storage bins and locations. Drives continuous improvement to Warehouse processes including receiving, parts putaway, picking etc. Manages Excess and Obsolete material strategies to disposition aged materials.
Maintain and embody safe work practices.
Drive process/ procedure reviews and assist in employee training.
Understand all key aspects of WH operations to drive continual improvement in day to day functions.
Analyze/ monitor opportunities for inventory disposition via excess/ obsolete inventory program.
Understand storage and material dynamics so inventory can be right sized in all locations.
Receive predetermined assignments subject to a moderate level of control and review.
Communicate daily/ weekly/ monthly project status.
Lead cross functional partnerships across the materials org to drive improvement in Mequon Ops.
Lead continuous improvement projects, i.e. Kaizen events.
Understand and maintain complex manufacturing order management systems.
Facilitate manufacturing teams toward the achievement of business and customer objectives.
Coach and train teams in the philosophy of continuous improvement and waste reduction concepts.
Foster an environment that instills pride and ownership by all employees.
Provide feedback to employees and supervisors about transactional performance and execution.
Develop a motivated employee base through rewards and recognition linked to accomplishments.
Provide leadership in the support of best practices and compliance to procedures and specifications.
Drive engagement and team work through clear communication of objectives.

Prepare and present operational metrics during regular order status reviews.
Drive and own key warehouse health and operational performance metrics.
Analyze material flow for productivity and overall reduction opportunities.
Understand operating budgetary controls.
Utilize problem solving tools as part of Lean Six Sigma based continuous improvement philosophy.
- Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of five years warehouse related experience.
Working knowledge of ERP systems and warehouse storage concepts.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Leadership of flexible work teams.
SAP business system knowledge.
LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
