Apple's Product & Design is seeking Rapid UI Prototyper/Engineer to work with the Design team on creating prototypes to demonstrate new concepts, and showcase features of current and future products. You will build multiple iterations of prototypes with rapidly evolving requirements. You will provide code and integration support to engineering teams for product features that require complex animations and visual elements. You will create tools and plugins needed by the design team.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong experience in iOS and macOS development experience
  • Proficiency with Xcode, Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, AppKit, and CoreAnimation
  • Experience building rapid prototypes
  • Ability to write clean, high quality code
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong programming skills, and a passion to learn new & evolving technologies
  • Effective time management with an ability to spearhead multiple projects

Description

  • Familiar with AR/VR, Unity, Unreal or similar 3D engines
  • Javascript and C# experience
  • Experience writing Metal shading language is a plus
  • Experience writing Plugins and Scripts for macOS apps
  • Experience importing/exporting files from AfterEffects, Cinema 4D, Maya, Photoshop, Sketch
  • An eye for design details and user interaction
  • Good understanding of UI and User Experience

    Education & Experience

  • BS degree or equivalent, preferably with a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is preferred
