Our Audio Electrical Engineering team contributes to defining, designing and integrating high quality audio electronics into all Apple products. Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as an audio/analog electrical systems engineer
  • Expertise in silicon design and manufacturing, power converters, power amplifiers, audio circuit design
  • Proficiency in failure analysis, thermal analysis, spice simulations, system modeling
  • Knowledge in SW drivers, DSP preferred
  • Expertise in prototyping circuits and products in a lab
  • Experience in designing in a fast paced high volume consumer electronics environment


Seeking enthusiastic senior hands-on analog/audio electrical engineers for the Apple Acoustics team. Responsibilities include definition, architecture, design, implementation and integration of the audio subsystem in Apple products. Primary duties include: qualifying best in class audio silicon, proof of concept and experience prototyping, system board schematic design and layout, prototype bring up and debugging, production manufacturing and test support, hardware debug, functional and performance verification, SW/FW verification and signal characterization, mentoring and directing junior engineers and working with cross-functional teams to achieve cutting edge audio quality in products. The applicant must have phenomenal EE fundamentals with a focus on analog, high power audio electronics and solid fundamentals in digital electronics. The applicant should be familiar with audio design of portable low-power/mid-power products, preferably with a track record building consumer electronics and dealing with high- volume and high-quality products.

Education & Experience

Most of our engineers have advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics or an equivalent field, but if you've followed a different path to expertise in audio EE and acoustics that's fine too.
