Marcom is Apple's Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple's advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications. As a Front End Developer, you will be at the center of crafting rich, interactive user experiences for ( In this role you will contribute to our continued growth by participating in architectural discussions for our front-end technologies across projects. Key Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience with front end web development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, etc.). A portfolio or work samples with application is a significant plus
  • A fundamental understanding of visual and interactive design discipline.
  • You strive to use web standards to build solutions using semantic markup and CSS.
  • An understanding of major browsers and the special considerations required for each.
  • A proficiency with JavaScript without the need to rely on libraries to accomplish innovative interactions.
  • You are aware of the interplay between JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and can dynamically build, modify, and style elements on a page with ease.
  • You understand Node build systems, CommonJS, and Sass.
  • Experience creating custom tooling to support the development and review process.
  • Extensive experience debugging cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility issues
  • Experience evaluating page performance, and the use of will-change in a performance context
  • Experience with Canvas (2D/3D), WebGL (shaders), three.js, and using various technologies to create animated scenes for the web
  • Experience with Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D a plus


- Collaborates with the team and works independently on development efforts for large-scale web-based projects, ensuring robust and lasting solutions are implemented. - Awareness of Apple's mobile platform with the ability to build solutions that take advantage of the latest iOS features while remaining performant on the latest iOS devices. - Maintains existing JavaScript libraries and ensures they support the engineering and creative needs of - Stays educated on the latest in software development standard methodologies and new technologies, especially HTML5 and CSS3, and continually works to innovate and build new web experiences
