The Workday Foundation Data Manager will oversee the team responsible for managing critical foundation data elements and data auditing within Workday. In this exciting role, you will help build the HRIS and CRM strategy for Apple globally. You will work within the People Operations team to provide operational expertise, build solutions, deliver results and support business needs. The role calls for close partnership with cross-functional teams to provide direction on operational processes and find opportunities to improve support to our business partners and employees. Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of people management and experience developing a team
  • 7+ years of HR experience
  • 4+ years with Workday HCM, with other enterprise HR systems strongly preferred
  • Experience with ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow
  • Ability to collaborate and influence key business partners
  • Proven success in developing effective strategies in an operational role
  • Superior analytical skills and the ability to approach problems flexibly and creatively
  • Expertise in effectively balancing workflow between team members, ensuring the needs of various business partners are being met
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and deliverables
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and an insatiable desire to provide outstanding customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and highly capable of exercising tact, discretion and diplomacy

Description

This team is responsible for the intake, resolution and escalation of work related to employee records and data. We provide centralized administration support for various programs, aligning business needs and regulatory requirements to manage employment data and documents. In this central role, you will be at the helm of mapping out strategic and transformative initiatives to elevate the support we provide our employees across the world. The Workday Foundation Data Manager's knowledge, insight and expertise will help power us forward in the implementation and ongoing enhancements of Workday. This global-facing role works cross-functionally to support Workday business processes and complex transactions, partnering closely with internal partners. You are crucial in helping us achieve operational excellence while offering our employees a world-class support experience. Responsibilities may include: - Lead team in resolving issues of varied scope related to employment policies, practices and records - Maintain the highest regulatory and compliance standards in handling sensitive data - Ensure team processes complex data updates on employment records - Lead a team that completes complex EIB data loads - Oversee the team responsible for ongoing data audit and clean-up - Architect innovative and scalable solutions to drive productivity - Provide career development and mentorship to team of direct reports - Build and maintain a quality relationship with internal business partners - Collaborate with internal business partners to identify and resolve potential gaps - Monitor and constantly strive to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes
