Sodexo is seeking a Retail Operations Manager for Queens Medical Center - Punchbowl located in Honolulu, HI. Sodexo has been at Queen's Medical Center, a 579-bed trauma 1 hospital since 1999. The Retail Operations Manager will manage and oversee the Food & Nutrition Services operations of approximately $5.5 million over 4 location and direct frontline staff.

All locations are on the Queen's Punchbowl (Honolulu) campus within walking distance.Coming soon, a Starbucks licensed store in the spring 2022.


The successful candidate will:

  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly-paid), staff;
  • provide stellar customer service;
  • oversee cash handing processes, and POS programming and maintenance;
  • ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed;
  • conduct retail brand standard audits (in-house and national brands);
  • maintain integrity of retail branded concept standards (national and in-house brands);
  • manage the opening and closing the operation as well daily retail food service operations;
  • ensure all needed signage (including digital) is in place;
  • manage vendor relationships and compliance; and/or
  • maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in retail operations
