The Retail Online organization is looking for an outstanding leader to join our global Systems Quality Management (SQM) team. The SQM team is part of our Business Process Reengineering (BPR) function and is chartered with ensuring that we deliver our Online Store and E-Commerce vision as crafted. Main focus areas in this role will involve leading all aspects of and providing leadership for our end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Program Management function. Will need to form relationships and engagement with partner organizations, and provide thought leadership and vision for what the future of testing and quality management will look like within Retail Online. This exciting role will become the central voice of quality across the Retail Online organization. The ideal candidate will be proactive, driven, highly detail-oriented, and one that thrives in a fast paced and often ambiguous environment. A primary responsibility in this role will be to provide clarity and direction for their directs and teams, and to jump in and help solve critical problems when they're encountered. We're looking for a leader who can communicate well at all levels of an organization, is a strong people and team builder, a passionate quality advocate, process improvement champion, and a deep problem solver.

Key Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record of leading global transactional testing organization
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for quality management and has hands-on experience implementing them
  • Deep expertise of transactional processes in a digital e-commerce environment
  • Demonstrates deep technical understanding, an ability to convey this knowledge across audiences composed of technical and non-technical collaborators, and stitches between their teams work and the broader business strategy
  • Understands and can explain complex business processes, system architecture, and tools landscape through a lens of connecting the dots across a systems landscape to identify potential upstream/downstream impacts of design
  • Communicate effectively and build trust and credibility across organizations
  • Demonstrates an unwavering ability to maintain patience and a positive attitude in an ambitious and multifaceted environment
  • Lead, negotiate, and prioritize work for a global team optimally based on business needs, even when needed information may be incomplete
  • Challenge the status quo, and propose new and creative solutions
  • Drive discussions to explore concepts, identify focus areas, extract key information, and convert strategy into action
  • Lead a testing organization through adoption of testing automation and application development is a plus
  • Minimum of 7-10 years leadership experience in a Quality, Testing, Project Management, or Program Management function

Description

Primary voice of Quality for the Retail Online organization. Lead Global SQM teams based in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions. Build and maintain positive collaboration with the teams inside and outside of Retail, including Online Product, Retail Customer Care, and key IS&T shared service groups. Drive team to deliver multiple mid-to-large scale regional and/or global testing efforts with overlapping timelines. Assess team capacity and resourcing on an ongoing basis and communicate proactively to get ahead of constraints during releases Evolve the quality strategy across all testing phases (UAT, PVT, Warranty) for Retail Online as needed to keep pace with organization growth, growing systems complexity, and evolving business needs Partner with business and technical leaders to conceptualize, define, and drive groundbreaking testing and quality driven initiatives
