What Rockwell Needs from You
We need a diverse workforce to do our best work. We need the makers, the forward thinkers, the problem solvers, and everything in between. That is where you come in. We are looking for a Material Handler 2. This is a 1st shift position, 6:00am - 2:30 pm (M-F) with a starting rate of $15.58/hr.
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
RESPONSIBLITIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Uses standard documentation and SAP for materials administration, receiving, picking, and delivering parts. Assignments and process are semi routine in nature. Ability to set-up and operate Powered Industrial Vehicles to load, unload and transfer materials/finished product. Responsible for using proper safety equipment and following all safety procedures. Responsible for performing housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Ability to embrace change and respond quickly and constructively to changing priorities. Overtime is an essential function of this position which typically requires 10-20 hours of standard hours of overtime/week. Actual overtime hours may vary.

- ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs.
- Sit and/or Stand for long periods
- Responsible for utilizing proper safety equipment and following all safety procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED OR 1 year of related work experience
