Sodexo School Services is currently seeking an Executive Chef for Yukon Public Schools in Oklahoma City, OK. Sodexo has partnered with the growing district of to bring innovative dining options for students and staffs.

The Executive Chef is a Senior Culinary person that supports the day to day operations within 12 schools. This is an opportunity for a chef who has a passion for training and customer service. A best qualified candidate will have excellent leadership experience, be a proven trainer and a self-motivator. Additionally, the successful candidate will be well organized and able to manage multiple projects at one time. They will have a focus on employee development, safety/sanitation, quality and standards.

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality;
  • Have high expectations for customer service and quality of food;
  • Have the ability and willingness to develop and train front-line employees;
  • Have a passion for food and innovation
  • Emphasis on food presentation, quality, execution, menu design & implementation;
  • Experience managing food and labor cost controls to meet targets;
  • Demonstrated experience providing strong leadership, including supervision, direction and training, to a diverse team of employees;
  • High level of computer literacy and skill-set;
  • Strong understanding of financials and strong analytical thinking skills;
  • Experience with National School Lunch Program preferred

Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
