The Retail Shopping Experience Team is looking for a Product Manager to help define and bring to life the future of Apple Retail Online shopping for our Education, Small Business and Government customers. In this role, you will partner with business, design and engineering to deliver high impact experiences and capabilities for our customers.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of digital or e-commerce product management experience
  • Experience supporting Education, Small Business or Government audiences through digital platforms a strong plus
  • Experience implementing Identity verification solutions, such as, SheerID, Unidays, or others, preferred
  • Familiarity with fraud prevention and mitigation techniques, preferred
  • Experience translating business concepts into a strategic roadmap, with excellent delivery track record
  • Demonstrated success in planning, managing, and delivering multi-track technology projects in a high-paced, constantly evolving work environment, leading the team through issue resolution throughout the entire development lifecycle
  • Possess strong decision making and prioritization skills; have experience overseeing and managing complex project schedules
  • Excellent verbal/presentation and written communication skills
  • Comfort working cross-functionally across global teams and timezones
  • Ability to clearly articulate strategy and requirements to collaborators, engineering, analytics and business partners
  • Solid understanding of technical implementation details with the ability to tailor communications for different audiences
  • Ability to think end-to-end, and champion the digital experience but also understand the operational requirements to sustain digital experience offerings


Establish Product roadmaps in partnership with partners throughout the broader organization. Independently lead initiatives to improve the digital commerce experience and capabilities for critical segment audiences. Research the various features needed to deliver the desired experience and partner with Design to consolidate in a Business Requirements Document. Manage change to goals of requirements over the lifecycle of your project and collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to assess impact to your deliverables. Partner with all impacted teams to ensure cross-functional alignment around the requirements by driving review sessions and updating or clarifying requirements accordingly. Monitor the health of your projects at all times along with the associated risks and implications to delivery. Author and share recurring status reports to highlight key activities, achievements in your project, as well as risks and mitigations. Manage the delivery of your projects end to end by partnering with design, engineering, testing, publishing and operational teams to ensure a smooth launch. Collaborate closely with Analytics and Insights teams to use data and customer research in your decision making process. Evangelize your features and initiatives to other departments and partners to ensure consensus and active involvement throughout your project lifecycle. Represents the business when meeting with cross-functional partners to ensure the solution meets the goals of your project.

Education & Experience

- Completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree. - Consumer product experience with a history of managing projects that facilitate or enhance customer shopping experiences. - Strong background in the mobile industry, with experience shipping mobile products and iOS apps. - Start-up experience is ideal but not essential.
