Unit Description

In direct collaboration with Corporate Services NorAm FM Leadership and in collaboration with Global and Regional Asset Management and FM leaders and with Global Digital and Technology Transformation Leadership, The Director, Digital and Technology Transformation will ensure development and deployment of client and account operations facing tools and technologies (Referred to from here on out as the D&T Stack). This may include Maximo, FM P2P, iFM Digital Platform (Insights & Analytics), SMS, Workplace Consumer App and FM site team/ Client systems and interfaces.

You will regionally lead the development of the IFM digital platform including developing the road-map for the adaptation of this to the NorAm- specific requirements and expanded capabilities including the Smart Building Platform, remote monitoring, workplace consumer app, IoT/Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning areas of innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development and deployment of a fully integrated FM solution (FM P2P) purchasing platform for all Sodexo FM accounts for the procurement of goods and services related to performing the FM contract
  • Guides sales and segment operations in client interactions, buildup digital solutions to efficiently deploy the systems and tools
  • Review the performance and functionality of the systems and recommend priority upgrades and new developments to meet local, regional, and global strategic accounts
  • Operationalize the strategic deployment of Maximo CMMS, IFM Digital Platform (Insights & Analytics) and integrated FM technologies in coordination with CS Operations from sales support, solution development, business plans, end to end processes, budgets and operational efficiencies
  • Engage projects related to the development of the Microsoft Azure and iFM Digital platform to expand the FM Platform value chain, create an embedded infrastructure for Sodexo and its customers, while establishing data streams to collect, package and sell business information that helps clients make strategic decisions
  • This position also supports development of the Soft Services SMS platform and leads development of SMS in Hard FM applications in alignment with Global systems - builds synergies between them to optimize deployment, streamline transition resources, and integration to the Global IFM Digital Platform
  • Provide business requirements and perspective in the development of Client and Account facing systems and D&T stack through regional and global governance, system capability expansion, client interfaces, mobile applications, MS Azure / Digital IFM platform, aggregated data analytics leveraging both big data and edge technologies to expand into new, supportive business models that improve the overall technology delivery within the FM platform
  • Fully support the implementation of the FM Technology Quality Management System in alignment with global auditing, international quality standards, and operational requirements. Support the process delivered to all live sites at frequencies that ensure data integrity is maintained for KPI and reporting as well as identifying and seizing training opportunities to improve the overall utilization and value of FM Systems - this could be a standard dashboard reporting tool for all clients and accounts
  • Ensure relationships, communications and collaboration is continual between Service Operations Leadership, IS&T, Segment leadership, and Command Center leadership team activities for both hard and soft FM developments and deployments towards CS NorAm Strategy deployment in a timely manner
  • Support and lead CS NorAm technology initiatives in the areas of cloud-based platforms, IoT connected devices, mobile apps, machine learning, and interactive tools that establish new business models and revenue streams
  • Provide technical bid support of pursued CS-RFP opportunities
  • Develop prototypes and demonstrations of IFM and digital platform capabilities built on the MS Azure platform that support the business and increase Sodexo's competitive advantage by expanding the value chain
  • Review client expectations and propose FM Technology solutions and cost model
  • Review sales proposals confirming alignment with FM systems strategies and technical capabilities - identify, and initiate development projects as necessary
  • Lead and support the alignment of Command Center, IS&T, TSF processes, and other deployment activities to deliver FM Technologies effectively to client operations
  • Develop and implement communication plans, strategic directives, and tactical programs to maintain transparency and awareness of technical development requirements between Corporate Services, IS&T, Sodexo Group, Service and Segment Operations leadership
  • Design and develop future offers/services to support the sale and delivery of the FM services, developing the offering, designing solutions based on customers' needs working with sales and operations teams, educating internal and external clients and customers
  • Establish opportunities to align both Hard and Soft FM activities in the deployment of the IFM platform through technology and information sharing, development support, and driving the integrated CS NorAm FM strategy
  • Evaluate and select tools and technologies that make Sodexo more competitive in client environments by optimizing deployments, Quality management, and operational excellence
  • Align integrations within existing Enterprise Architecture framework components including business capability, reference architectures and digital strategies that drive both traditional and emerging trends
  • Lead multiple teams that ensure proper deployment of FM Systems and tools focusing on these primary functions:
    • Contract review and coordinate deployment project planning in alignment with scope requirements and TSF Procedure
    • Pre-Deployment Site preparation and planned configurations
    • Project management of all deployment activities
  • Owns and manages development and maintenance of a costing model for D&T offerings by client
  • Key contributing member to the Service Operations FM Platform developing strategic information technology initiatives that align and streamline Information Systems for Corporate Services clients
  • Develop business models for IoT and Business Intelligence platforms based on the global and CS adopted vision and principles for cloud-based technologies
