Unit Description

Entegra Procurement Services has a new opening for a Director, Culinary Operations to oversee our entegra Performance Kitchen (EPK) located in the Greater Richmond, VA area.

As Entegra's in-house Culinarian for North America, you will:

  • Oversee the EPK and its day-to-day operations
  • Participate in the implementation of product development and testing procedures
  • Set up and organize key client product evaluations and cuttings, while interfacing with leadership both at the supplier and client level
  • Ensure that all EPK outcomes and experiences are best in class

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Culinary preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive commercial, fine dining restaurant culinary experience
  • Strong acumen and experience in having developed multiple concepts
  • Food science acumen or expertise in food manufacturing, product development and specification
  • Proven track record in cross-functional team leadership
  • Extensive executive presentation skills in front of large groups, clients and senior leadership
  • Certification/experience in food science or culinology - a plus
  • Industry ties to manufacturing associations - a plus
  • Some non-commercial culinary experience - a plus

Position Summary

This role will be responsible for working with Sodexo's Food Platform to develop and deploy offers that are aligned to Entegra's strategy and portfolio roadmap. The Director, Entegra Culinary Offer Development and Deployment will also be Entegra's Culinarian for North America, therefore connecting with the Food Platform, vendors, and clients to ensure that our culinary product/service offerings are best-in-class.

This role will report to the Entegra NorAm VP of Marketing.

  • Based on Entegra's portfolio roadmap, this role will leverage the Food Platform's resources and work with the Entegra organization to develop winning offers targeted to our strategic segments (Seniors, Restaurants, Lodging, Leisure).
  • Responsible for deploying the aforementioned offers before handing them off to Entegra's segment marketers.
  • Act as Entegra's in-house Culinarian, liaising with the many culinary teams from our diverse stakeholders (vendors, clients, distributors, internal), ensuring Entegra's food and beverage focus is heightened while spearheading our menu initiatives.
  • Provide culinary support for our business development efforts, throughout the RFP process and beyond.
