Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Jefferson City in Jefferson City, MO.

SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Jefferson City is a 150 bed full-service, community hospital with a rich history. The Executive Chef will direct all culinary operations for this new state-of-the-art building which features an evidence-based design that focuses on healing environments and patient safety. The Executive Chef will oversee all feeding operations for patients in need of emergency, cardiology, orthopedic, cancer, maternity and medical imaging services, manage a team of 10-15 frontline staff, and ensure client and patient needs are satisfied.

If you are an experienced culinary leader with a background as a Kitchen Manager, Culinary Manager, Catering Manager, Executive Chef, Supervisor or Director in any industry to include healthcare, you are encouraged to apply now!

The successful candidate will:

  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
  • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
  • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance;
  • improve and standardize catering services, create menus based on client needs; and/or
  • create interpersonal relationships with clients and staff in the hospital.
