Apple Music Systems + R&D is a team of production technologists focused on building ground breaking production facilities and workflows to enable the creation of world-class audio and video content globally. The Systems + R&D team is seeking a senior broadcast systems administrator specializing in implementation and maintenance of production technology in studio and broadcast environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry-leading experience in systems, processes, and practices associated with systems design, build, maintenance, and information security compliance.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working in a professional production environment for television, film, radio or music.
  • Deep system administration experience in MacOS, Windows, and Linux environments
  • Experience with enterprise asset management systems, pre and post-production workflows, and file delivery technologies.
  • Experience with technical design and build of production facilities, including broadcast control rooms, audio mix rooms, and editorial suites.
  • Familiarity with audio-over-IP technologies, such as Dante, Ravenna, AES67
  • Extensive knowledge of production and corporate networking architectures and principles
  • Passionate and meticulously organized project leader
  • Global travel required


Maintain our fleet of production and broadcast technology assets across all studios and facilities globally. Work with both internal partners and external vendors to ensure airtight information security compliance. Participate in systems design and build of future production and broadcast facilities Research and development on emerging technologies and workflows, and how they can further enhance our industry-leading content offerings.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree preferred.
