Unit Description

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a Chef Manager to join our team at one of our high profile accounts in Merrimack NH! The current food landscape consists of 2 cafes and catering operations.

The Chef Manager will be the leader and mentor in and out of the kitchen. We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about cooking and is looking to grow and learn with us. The Chef Manager will be the Chef and the Manager for the operation. Duties include but not limited to:

  • Managing weekly financials
  • Food and Labor cost
  • Menu planning
  • Ordering
  • Inventory
  • Managing a team of 5 hourly employees (2 cooks and 3 food services workers/utility workers)
  • Hands on in the kitchen about 85% of the time
  • Oversee catering production
  • Front of the house operations

This position offers a predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule, but must be flexible as some evenings will be needed for catering. Position Summary

Responsible for the day to day execution of the menus & culinary deliverables. May be responsible for smaller units within a multi-location.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
