Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary defines the word career as “a profession for which one trains and which is undertaken as a permanent calling.” Most people train for their careers by attending a college or university to pursue a specific degree, enrolling in a technical school to learn from theory and practice, or following the steps of a mentor and learning from experience at work. We have spoken with Hispanic professionals from various career paths to share what they have learned at work. We also provide tips for Hispanic professionals to succeed in any type of career endeavor.
