Merriam Webster defines finance as “the system that includes the circulation of money, the granting of credit, the making of investments, and the provision of banking facilities.” In this system, a variety of positions are available to ensure that all the components of the system work properly, and at the system’s core, financial analysts provide guidance to businesses and individuals making investment decisions. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, “employment of business and financial operations occupations is projected to grow 9 percent from 2016 to 2026, about as fast as the average for all occupations, adding about 750,400 new jobs.”  So we interview finance professionals with a proven track record to provide useful information that will educate and empower others interested to work in this field.
