Elsa Prado is a Spanish Interpreter, Author, and Radio Correspondent for Language Line Solutions and the Hands Off Our Children Organization.
Please give us a brief description of what you do. I am coded as an all-call Spanish interpreter. Because I am a certified medical interpreter, I handle medical calls, but I also handle court calls. When the company has an additional need, they send me banking and insurance calls too.
Did you find this job through LatPro? No, I found my former job through LatPro. In your newsletter, I saw that ADP sought a Bilingual Client Service Representative. Immediately after I saw the opening, I applied and a recruiter called me within 45 minutes of me replying to their post. The recruiter’s quickness amazed me.
Please tell us about you, your professional and multicultural background, and so on. For about 18 years, I have been working as a certified Spanish interpreter and translator. Also, I am the author of two books, Dear Donor and Heart Stomp. In Spanish, they are titled Querido Donante and Corazón Pisoteado. I also work for the Hands Off Our Children not for profit organization as a radio correspondent and in the community doing conferences to raise awareness against child abuse and to promote child safety. All the work I do is within the Anglo and Hispanic communities.
