Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary

Responsible for selling products and services over the phone and via email. Identify and research leads, guide prospects through the sales process, and schedule demos with prospective customers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales leads and appointments via cold calling and other prospecting activities.
  • Research accounts and strive to identify the key players and contacts within a company.
  • Use excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build a quick rapport with prospects.
  • Convert pre-qualified leads by directing them to senior sales executives who can close the deal. 
  • Articulate the features and benefits of a company’s products or services during demos.
  • Build and maintain a database of promising leads within an assigned territory.
  • Understand the customer’s needs and persuade them to do business with the company.
  • Work independently and remain self-motivated to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Handle rejection in a professional manner and be capable of working under pressure.
  • Provide customer support and answer questions about company products and services.
