Prepares and organizes new patient information and welcomes patients into a medical facility.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome new patients into the facility
  • Records new patient information and ensures accuracy
  • Coordinates appointments and treatments for the patient, as necessary
  • Possesses strong communication and customer service skills
  • Prepares new patient information before their first appointment with their doctor
  • Answers phone calls and handles other clerical work, as needed
  • Verifies patient insurance information
  • Scans all new patient paperwork into the electronic filing system
