Apple is seeking a proven Technical Data Product Manager (TPM) to join the Apple Media Products Data Science team. The TPM plays a meaningful role in collaborating with engineering and data scientists to design, maintain, build or improve mission-critical datasets from a multitude of sources. This role will involve working with internet-scale data across numerous product and customer touch points to drive initiatives that will make our data science organization more streamlined and productive. The team's culture is centered on rapid iteration with open feedback and debate along the way, plus tight-knit collaboration with data scientists, product, feature engineering and data engineering.
- Proven experience in a Technical Product Management role, preferably for a digital-media or subscription business.
- Proven experience in data-related programming languages (e.g. SQL, PySpark, Python, or R)
- Knowledge of Client-Server analytics tracking strategies as well as data architecture required for analysis
- Experience with end-to-end data replication strategies across petabyte scale technologies
We are looking for a self-starting, upbeat individual with great communication skills that is passionate about managing and developing critical datasets that improves Data Science capabilities. If you have a passion for Apple services (TV+, Music, Arcade, News, etc), it would be a big plus! You will have a strong interest in driving large scale data products, engaging with key business stakeholders involved, and driving key communications throughout the business.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Information Systems
