The Website Developers primary responsibility is to build and maintain websites for clients in a variety of fields and subject matter. This position will play a lead role in ensuring sites are built to client specifications and all features and functionality works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all phases of the website fulfillment cycle, from product design, implementation, quality assurance and testing
  • Build and maintain reusable WordPress sites, themes, templates
  • Test, debug, and refine software to produce the required web property on both desktop and mobile media
  • Recommend software and processes to reduce operating time and process
  • Using tools such as WordPress CMS, develop and publish content to customer websites
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Skills:

  • College Degree in Computer Science or technical/quantitative field or equivalent experience
  • Five (5) years professional experience in similar environment preferred
    • WordPress Experience preferred
    • Familiarity with front end development preferred (JavaScript, CSS and HTML)
    • QA experience a plus
    • BEM naming convention
    • Implementing DNS Records
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Critical Thinking Skills
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
    • Ability to work alone or in a group as part of a larger project
    • Team Player who can take creative directions
    • Must be proficient in MS Office Applications
    • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop a plus

Could include weekend, evening, early morning or holiday shifts.
